Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where your IntelSafari representative will welcome you. After assisting with immigration and customs, transfer to your hotel for a restful overnight stay and safari briefing.

Travel through Kenya’s scenic highlands to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this pioneering conservation area, home to half of Kenya’s black rhinos and other endangered species. Spot unique wildlife such as Somali ostrich, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, and more.

Enjoy a full day exploring Ol Pejeta. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see these fascinating primates. Continue on game drives tracking rhinos, lions, elephants, and a wide range of birdlife.

Transfer to Nanyuki for your flight or drive to Masai Mara. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The Mara is world-famous for its rich wildlife and dramatic Great Migration crossings (seasonal). Settle into your lodge and prepare for days of unforgettable safari.

Spend the day exploring the Mara. Your private guide will help track the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — as well as many other species. Search for elusive leopards in the riverine forests and marvel at the abundance of life on the plains.

Another day of adventure in the Mara. Early morning and late afternoon game drives maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. Look for the Big Five and over 450 bird species. This is one of Africa’s most rewarding safari destinations.

Fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, then connect to your flight to Diani Beach. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort. Enjoy your first glimpse of Diani’s powdery white sands and warm Indian Ocean waters.

Relax on the beach or choose from a range of optional activities offered by your resort. Options include deep-sea fishing, boat excursions, scuba diving, snorkeling, golf, or a tour of Mombasa Island. Alternatively, enjoy lunch at one of Diani’s local beach restaurants.

A full day at leisure. Swim in the turquoise waters, lounge by the pool, or try windsurfing or kitesurfing. Watch dhow boats sail along the coast and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of Kenya’s beautiful southern coast.

Cancellation Policy

At Intel Safaris, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while covering the costs involved in preparing your trip.

1. General Terms
  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to Intel Safaris.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days.
  • Bank charges, service fees, or third-party booking fees are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation Charges
  • 60 days or more before departure – Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
  • 45 – 59 days before departure25% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • 30 – 44 days before departure50% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • 15 – 29 days before departure75% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • 14 days or less / No Show100% of the tour cost will be charged.
3. Special Considerations

Certain hotels, lodges, or flights may have stricter cancellation rules. In such cases, the vendor’s policy will apply in addition to Intel Safaris’ policy. No refunds will be provided for unused services or early departures once the tour has commenced.

4. Amendments & Date Changes

Changes made 45 days or more prior to departure are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee. Less than 45 days, changes will be treated as cancellations and re-bookings.

5. Force Majeure

In case of unforeseen events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, etc.), Intel Safaris reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours. In such situations, we will provide credit vouchers or refunds as per our discretion and supplier policies.
