Arrive in Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital. You’ll be greeted by your personal IntelSafari representative and transferred by private 4×4 to your hotel. Your guide will review your itinerary and explain Rwanda’s emergency and evacuation policies to ensure your peace of mind during your adventure.

Begin your day with a private half-day guided tour of Kigali. Visit the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial and gain deeper understanding of Rwanda’s history and remarkable resilience.
In the afternoon, transfer by private 4×4 to Volcanoes National Park — a scenic 3-hour drive through Rwanda’s picturesque landscapes. Arrive at your luxury lodge and settle in for your gorilla adventure.

Today is the highlight of your journey. After breakfast, meet your expert guide and transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing.
Then venture into the rainforest with experienced trackers to seek one of the world’s most endangered species — the mountain gorilla. The trek can take several hours, but the reward is priceless: spending a magical hour observing a gorilla family in their natural habitat.
Return to your lodge to relax and reflect on this extraordinary experience.

Another adventure awaits this morning as you track the charismatic golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. These agile primates are a delight to watch as they leap between bamboo and interact with visitors. After securing your permit, trek into the forest with your guide to find these rare and playful creatures.
In the afternoon, enjoy a private scenic drive back to Kigali, where you’ll return to your hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time or a final stroll through Kigali, depending on your flight schedule. You’ll then be transferred by private vehicle to Kigali International Airport for your onward journey.

Cancellation Policy
At Intel Safaris, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while covering the costs involved in preparing your trip.
1. General Terms
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to Intel Safaris.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days.
- Bank charges, service fees, or third-party booking fees are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation Charges
- 60 days or more before departure – Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
- 45 – 59 days before departure – 25% of the tour cost will be charged.
- 30 – 44 days before departure – 50% of the tour cost will be charged.
- 15 – 29 days before departure – 75% of the tour cost will be charged.
- 14 days or less / No Show – 100% of the tour cost will be charged.
3. Special Considerations
Certain hotels, lodges, or flights may have stricter cancellation rules. In such cases, the vendor’s policy will apply in addition to Intel Safaris’ policy. No refunds will be provided for unused services or early departures once the tour has commenced.
4. Amendments & Date Changes
Changes made 45 days or more prior to departure are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee. Less than 45 days, changes will be treated as cancellations and re-bookings.
5. Force Majeure
In case of unforeseen events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, etc.), Intel Safaris reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours. In such situations, we will provide credit vouchers or refunds as per our discretion and supplier policies.
