Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your IntelSafari representative will greet you and assist with immigration and customs. Receive your detailed travel documents and transfer to your hotel for rest and preparation for your adventure.

Depart Nairobi with your expert guide and drive to the famed Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Begin tracking migrating herds and searching for the Big Five. Your guide will tailor the game drive to optimize wildlife sightings.

Rise early for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara. Witness the rich biodiversity of this renowned reserve. Look for elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards, and the abundant birdlife that thrives here. The Mara is particularly known for its dense wildlife population.

Embark on a migration-focused safari today. Follow large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and impalas across the plains. If traveling during the migration season (July–October), watch for dramatic river crossings and predator action. The Mara also offers the rare chance to spot wild rhinos in the wild.

This morning, depart Serengeti with a game drive en route. Visit the Serengeti Welcome Center for panoramic views before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic stops and optional visits along the way. Settle in at your lodge near the crater rim.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 25,000 animals inhabit the crater floor, offering unparalleled wildlife viewing. Spot elephants, black rhinos, lions, hippos, and more in this lush, self-contained ecosystem.

Cancellation Policy

At Intel Safaris, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while covering the costs involved in preparing your trip.

1. General Terms
  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to Intel Safaris.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days.
  • Bank charges, service fees, or third-party booking fees are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation Charges
  • 60 days or more before departure – Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
  • 45 – 59 days before departure25% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • 30 – 44 days before departure50% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • 15 – 29 days before departure75% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • 14 days or less / No Show100% of the tour cost will be charged.
3. Special Considerations

Certain hotels, lodges, or flights may have stricter cancellation rules. In such cases, the vendor’s policy will apply in addition to Intel Safaris’ policy. No refunds will be provided for unused services or early departures once the tour has commenced.

4. Amendments & Date Changes

Changes made 45 days or more prior to departure are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee. Less than 45 days, changes will be treated as cancellations and re-bookings.

5. Force Majeure

In case of unforeseen events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, etc.), Intel Safaris reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours. In such situations, we will provide credit vouchers or refunds as per our discretion and supplier policies.
